From Edinburgh follow the A68 to Carfriemill onto the A697 to Greenlaw turning off to Duns.

The course is 6298 yards long from the medal tees. The Wellrig burn runs through the course and comes into play on several of the holes. The feature hole is the short 15th only 107 yards from an elevated tee to a two tier green with water back and front, hence the name "Double Trouble"
History Duns Golf Club was formed in 1894 and was nine holes. In 1921 the course moved to it's present location at the Hardens.The original nine hole course was laid out by A H Scott, the professional from Eilie who was also Royal Clubmaker to King George V
