The 18 hole par 70 (css 69) rolling parkland course measures 5860 yards and lies just 1km to the west of Kirkintilloch town centre, and has the Campsie hills as a backdrop as well as providing spectacular views along the Kelvin Valley. The course provides an enjoyable walk with no major hills to be negotiated and a good course layout. However, consistent accuracy and sound course management is required by players of all levels, and even those golfers blessed with single figure handicaps will find a challenge in maintaining par against the often prevailing breeze (or stronger!).
