Leave the A1M and follow the signs for Cambridge A428. At the Tesco roundabout turn left (if you are coming from Cambridge, turn right at this roundabout). At the next main roundabout, turn right into Cromwell Road and then right at the traffic lights into Potton Road.

After approximately one mile the road bears shallow left, do not follow this but carry straight on - Abbotsley Hotel, Golf and Country Club is approximately a quarter of a mile on the left hand side.
