Cherry Burton Golf Club opened in 1994, as a short 9 hole course with small regular greens.
Since that time, the course has undergone major re-structuring under the design and supervision on course architect Will Adamson.
It is now a challenging 9 hole course of 3420yds, Par 36 with a wide variety of par3, par4 and par5 holes.

Of particular note are the two par 5 holes. The first is one of the longest par 5s in the E Riding and requires 3 good shots to reach the green, whereas the 6th hole only measures 465yds, but is fraught with obstacles and a diabolically undulating three tier green.
Water comes into play on 5 of the 9 holes, so a good supply of balls is recommended!

Further improvements and modifications are planned over the next few years, which will establish the course as one of the tightest and most testing in the area.
