History Bath Golf Club, established in 1880, has one of England's oldest and finest inland courses. The Club was formed with much assistance from officials of the Westward Ho! Golf Club which was one of only five clubs in existence, in England, at the end of 1879. Bath Golf Club therefore lays claim to being the sixth golf club to be formed in this country.
